The Standard America Diet (SAD) today is just like the acronym says – SAD. 70% of the typical diet is processed – this includes children and teens. There is very little WHOLE FOOD being eaten. When was the last time you ate an apple, peeled an orange, steamed some carrots or had a stick of celery?
